Northwest Montana Job & Opportunity Fair to Spark Career Connections in Kalispell

Kalispell, Mont. – The Northwest Montana Job & Opportunity Fair returns to the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center on Thursday, April 16, 2026, bringing together regional employers and job seekers for one of the area’s largest in-person hiring events.

The day begins with a High School Career Fair from 8:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., connecting students with local employers and career pathways. Students will meet with industry representatives and learn about in-demand occupations and training options across Northwest Montana.

The public Job Fair follows from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., open to job seekers of all ages and experience levels. Attendees can connect with employers across multiple sectors and explore full-time, part-time, seasonal, and entry-level opportunities.

“This event gives employers and job seekers a practical, face-to-face way to connect, ask questions, and move quickly toward hiring and career decisions,” said Jenn Cronk, Workforce & Special Initiatives Director, Kalispell Chamber. “It supports both immediate workforce needs and long-term talent development in our region.”

The Job & Opportunity Fair is organized by Job Service Kalispell, Flathead Valley Community College (FVCC), the Daily Inter Lake, Discover Kalispell Chamber, and WorkForce Flathead. Employers with open positions and individuals seeking employment or career direction are encouraged to participate.

“Our 406 JOBS initiative and local job fairs work hand in hand to turn opportunity into real jobs for Montanans in their own communities,” added Sarah Swanson, Commissioner, Montana Department of Labor and Industry. “Events like the Northwest Montana Job and Opportunity Fair do more than match resumes with openings; they help people build lasting careers and give businesses the workforce they need to keep Northwest Montana growing.”
